Detroit, MI – Boone Productions is excited to announce the release of three unique music projects from The Nap Time Show over the course of three weeks, starting on December 25, 2024. These projects celebrate everything the beloved children’s series stands for: relaxation, creativity, and emotional growth, while also fostering a sense of community and cultural appreciation.
The three projects include an album, an EP, and an instrumental album — each designed to appeal to kids and families in different, fun, and meaningful ways.
1. Kids Bops from The Nap Time Show – December 25, 2024
The first release, Kids Bops from The Nap Time Show, is a full album featuring original music from Season 2 of the show. Breakout tracks include The Affirmations Song, a positive affirmation anthem for kids and families, Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!, an energetic song about collaboration, and Tell the Truth, produced by and featuring Larrenwong. In a unique collaboration with Detroit Hives, Buzzin’ Bees is another standout track, with a portion of streaming proceeds being donated to the Detroit-based nonprofit that supports urban beekeeping.

2. Oaty Float Songs – January 1, 2025
Next, Oaty Float Songs will be released on January 1, 2025. This EP is all about The Nap Time Show’s signature drink, the Oaty Float™, and it’s perfect for introducing kids to new flavors, cultures, and languages. A highlight of the EP is the Multi-Cultural Oaty Float Song, which features a vibrant mix of languages including Tagalog, Arabic, Spanish, and more, promoting global inclusivity and multicultural understanding.
3. Calm N Cozy: Soothing Lo-Fi Beats for Kids – January 10, 2025
Rounding out the releases, Calm N Cozy: Soothing Lo-Fi Beats for Kids will drop on January 10, 2025. This instrumental album is designed to help calm the mind and create a peaceful environment for kids, with gentle beats and melodies perfect for nap time or relaxing moments.
Lo-fi music has been shown to help reduce stress and anxiety, making this album a perfect companion for children and parents alike.
"Creating this album was a labor of love," shares Ken Glaza, owner of K&R Recording Studios in Southfield, MI, and the music engineer behind Kids Bops from The Nap Time Show. “We wanted to create a sound that not only supports emotional well-being, but also builds a sense of calm and serenity for kids. Lo-fi music can be a simple yet powerful tool in helping children relax and feel at ease.”
